Aayush Khadka

Aayush is an MSc student in Global Health and Population at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. At Surgo Foundation he supports the reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health study in Uttar Pradesh, India. Aayush also contributes to projects on adapting private-sector forecasting methodologies to the field of development, and on the use of machine language in improving developmental outcomes. 

Aayush’s academic interests include applying health and behavioral economics tools for health systems strengthening in low-resource settings, and thinking about the most effective ways to tackle the double burden of disease and poverty. Before commencing his graduate study, Aayush was a researcher at the Economic Policy Research Institute in Cape Town, South Africa. He has a BA in political science and mathematics from Williams College, Massachusetts.
