Tisa is an MPH student in maternal and child health at the University of California, Berkeley. At Surgo Foundation she supports the reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health study in Uttar Pradesh, India.
Tisa’s academic interests include program evaluation and strategizing to improve equity of access to reproductive health services for the most vulnerable women. Before starting graduate school, Tisa was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay. She received her BA in international development studies and anthropology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
